Carlos Alazraqui is probably most often recognized as Deputy James Garcia on Comedy
Central’s hit show RENO 911! A standup comic for over 25 years, he is also one of LA’s top
voiceover actors as an ANNIE AWARD winner, with hundreds of credits to his name, including
his recent return as Rocko in Netflix’s reboot, ROCKO’S MODERN LIFE: STATIC CLING, and
his recurring character Bane in the BATMAN vs, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA
TURTLES animated feature. As the original voice for SPYRO THE DRAGON the beloved video
game series for Sony Playstation, Carlos is also globally recognized for his voice as The Taco
Bell Chihuahua for the 1990s TACO BELL ad campaign. Other notable characters include Mr.
Crocker on Nickelodeon’s long running series FAIRLY ODD PARENTS, Lazlo on Cartoon
Network’s CAMP LAZLO, Scooter the surfer fish dude along with Nobby and Harvey in SPONGEBOB
SQUAREPANTS, Due and Tho the Waterbenders from AVATAR: THE LAST
AIRBENDER, and Carlos Casagrande in Nickelodeon’s THE CASAGRANDES. His role
as Anton Trese in the Phillippine anime-influenced series TRESE has received much praise, as
well as his recent role voicing Zobo in the adult animated series FARZAR, quickly becoming a
fan favorite.

Carlos also successfully released his own feature-length live-action horror/comedy
movie, WITNESS INFECTION as co-writer, producer, and on-screen role of Mr. Serrelli.

Susanne Blakeslee is a talented voice actress known for her iconic roles in The Fairly OddParents franchise as Wanda, Anti-Wanda, and Mrs. Turner from 2001 to 2017. She has also lent her voice to various Disney projects, including providing the voices of Cruella de Vil, the Evil Queen, Lady Tremaine, Maleficent, and Madame Leota since 2001. She also has roles in in God of War, Shrek the Third, The Legend of Tarzan, Danny Phantom and Amphibia.

Daran Norris has been voicing characters in animation, film, tv, radio, and games for over three decades
and is still going strong. He continues to provide the voices of Cosmo, Timmy’s Dad, and Jorgen von
Strangle on Nickelodeon’s hit “Fairly Oddparents”. He also portrayed Timmy’s Dad on-camera in the live-
action FOP movies “Grow Up Timmy Turner”, “Fairly Odd Christmas”, and “Fairly Odd Summer.” He
returned as Cosmo and Jorgen on the Paramount Plus series “Fairly Oddparents: Fairly Odder” and is
currently recording more new episodes of the hit animated show. He can also be heard as Coach Niblick
on “The Loud House”, Mic & Hun on “Victor & Valentino”, and Jack Smith on “American Dad” to name a
few. A busy on-camera actor as well, Daran’s credits include Gordy the janitor on “Ned’s Declassified”,
Buddha Bob on “Big Time Rush”, newsman Johnny Frost on “iZOMBIE”, attorney Cliff McCormack on
“Veronica Mars”, and many others.

Our first guest announcement for Toon Con is the amazing creator and executive producer of some of your favorite cartoons, Butch Hartman!

Michigan native Butch Hartman remembers wanting to create cartoons as far back as kindergar- ten. “I drew a picture of my teacher and she kept raving about it. I realized art was a good way to get attention and I was hooked,” said Hartman. He recently left Nickelodeon after 20 years where he spearheaded four successful series including: The Fairly OddParents, Danny Phan- tom, T.U.F.F. Puppy and Bunsen is a Beast.

Hartman began working on Nickelodeon’s Oh Yeah, Cartoons! where he created a new short, The Fairly OddParents. The short was then developed into an animated series and became a mega-hit for the network when it launched in 2001. The Fairly OddParents ranks as Nickelodeon’s third longest running animated series, behind SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer. The rest is history with the creation of more shows!

In 2015 Hartman and his wife Julieann also launched their own online kid’s destination called “THE NOOG NETWORK”. An interactive app featuring cartoons, live-action shows and games for kids. Butch has partnered with the entertainment company Pocketwatch and in June of 2019 he launched his latest cartoon creation “Hobby Kids Adventures” which aired on You Tube as part of the Hobby Kids TV channel. They have produced ‘THE GARDEN’ – about biblical lessons told through the adventures of Lenny Lion and Lucy Lamb who live in a magical garden and ‘THE BIG BLUE BOOK’, a show about how kids can learn to solve problems with the help of their friends.
