If a cartoon made you laugh in the ’90s, there’s a good chance Steve Bernstein’s music was playing underneath it. The five-time Emmy-winning composer helped create the big, zany orchestral sound of Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, and Freakazoid!, and also scored Taz-Mania and Baby Looney Tunes. More recently, he brought his talents to the edgier side of animation with the “Laser Baby’s Day Out” episode of The Boys: Diabolical. Steve often collaborates with his wife, four-time Emmy winner Julie Bernstein, and together they brought the musical oxygen that made cartoons come to life. Come meet the maestro behind the music!
